My best friend recently put her plate down on a stove top while getting her dinner... and the plastic plate preceded to melt. I have learned a short but very laughter filled lesson here.
Always, always, always... always check the heat of the stove before putting anything on it. Cause you might just end up with a big sticky mess of burning french fries, melting plastic, and astonished expressions before the inevitable scramble to save... whatever can still be saved.
